Flecky Bennett’s Manchester Ghost Walk (City centre, 7pm)

Kooky Babooshka (Apotheca, 7.15pm)

Hailed as one of the ‘Top Three to See’ and on the list of ‘Top Sketch Comedy Recommendations’ at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, the all-female Kooky Babooshka are back on home-turf with their eclectic mix of finger-on-the-pulse sketches. Paul Zerdin: Sponge Fest Tour (The Comedy Store, 8pm)

Rhod Gilbert & the Cat That Looked Like Nicholas Lyndhurst (Opera House, 8pm)

XS Malarkey has been awarded Best Comedy Club at the North-West Comedy Awards and Best Comedy Club (North) at the Chortle Awards, and this is reflected in its previous hosted appearances, including Jimmy Carr, Jimmy Cricket, and Alan Carr. Tonight’s guests include Noel James, who has performed around the UK, the witty Hils Barker with credits in popular TV shows and radio; and the award-winning and critically acclaimed Matt Seber. Mick Sergeant – Mint (Lass O’Gowrie, 8.30pm)

This show will take you on a journey into the mind of an eccentric, unemployed Geordie ship-yard worker. This brilliant and nuanced characterisation has earned Lee Fenwick (the performer) the title of Hull Comedian of the Year Award and numerous other award nominations. ‘Fenwick could well be the next Steve Coogan or Rob Brydon’ (Chortle). Kevin Dewsbury has been well respected in the industry by fellow comics and promoters for years. He was a star of the Edinburgh Festival Big Value Comedy Late Show and a finalist in the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year.
