FIVE QUESTIONS WITH...PETER MARSHALL AND THE LOMOS
Peter Marshall and The Lomos bring their feast of a musical comedy show, An Audience with The Lomos, to the Manchester Comedy Festival and we asked them five questions to find out more...
What is your show about?
It's about the History of Rock and Roll...according to Peter Marshall and the Lomos. Songs, skits and stories combine as Peter Marshall and his one man 'band' create their own whimsical world.
Find out what it'd be like if you coupled a blog by Jesus Christ with a soundtrack by Take That. Discover the answer to the greatest question of all - What's and egg? And sing along to the official England World Cup song.
What has been the highlight of your comedy career thus far?
We reached the final of the Hilarity Bites New Act competition earlier this year.
Doing the middle spot for a Boy with Tape on his Face was pretty exciting too.
Finish this sentence: "If you like musical acts with occasional dark and whimsical moments in equal measure, then you'll like my show"
What will you do in the hour before your show?
Try to calm Lomo 2 down as the nerves get the better of us. Flyer, flyer flyer. Get Lomo 2 to calm me down as I panic...
Name 3 other comics you would recommend seeing.
The Boy with Tape on his Face, Daniel Kitson (although I guess everyone says that...but its true), Tim Key
An Audience with The Lomos is on at Apotheca on 25th October and is free - find out more here.
