Flecky Bennett’s Manchester Ghost Walk, (City centre, 7pm)

Having frightened victims in Manchester and London, Flecky Bennett returns to Manchester for the second year running with his popular ghost walk. Quentin Reynolds, Comedy Mindreader (Lass O’Gowrie, 7.30pm)

Winner of the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year in 2005, this comedy mindreader explores the psychic and the paranormal to a comic backdrop of laughter and astonishment. Frankie Boyle – I Would Happily Punch Everyone Of You In The Face (O2 Apollo Manchester, Door time 7pm, Show time 8pm)

One of comedy’s gurus, Frankie Boyle, comes to Manchester following his epic record-breaking tour in 2008 with some stellar stand up. Unfortunately if you're reading this today, tickets for one of Britain's best known stand-ups have sold out, and we're very proud to have him involved once again.

Jason Cook: The End (Part 1) (Frog and Bucket, Door time 7.30pm, Show time 8pm)

Following sell-out performances at the MCF last year, Jason is back with his most ambitious, soul-searching and personal show ever; where YOU decide 2011’s show. The Fall By Numbers (Apotheca, 8.30pm)

Critically acclaimed comic, Susan Vale, is in Manchester tonight with her show about her love of The Fall (the band that is, not the season or the Albert Camus novel).
