MIDDLETON ARENA JOINS FESTIVAL

The boroughs Middleton Arena will be one of the official venues for this years Manchester Comedy Festival. The annual festival will run from 18 - 31 October, with around 120 shows and performances being staged in over 30 venues across the city.

The Middleton complex has already established itself as a popular destination on the live comedy circuit since it was launched last year, staging performances from the likes of Lee Mack, Dave Spikey, John Bishop, Rich Hall and Chris Addison.


MULTITUDE MEDIA PROMOTES FESTIVAL

Multitude Media in Manchester has been appointed to handle the public relations for this year’s Manchester Comedy Festival.

The specialist PR agency was set up just over 2 years ago, working in entertainment and sport. It’s now representing 19 acts at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, as well as Goal.com and 2 Manchester comedians.
The 2010 Comedy Festival will be headlined by Frankie Boyle, Jimmy Carr and Mark Watson.
